Firstly, thank you for your support and we are grateful for the many of you who spread the word and recommend us to your friends and family. The growth we have seen this year has forced us into new premises, with significantly larger capacity, which has been very exciting. 2019 will see us invest heavily in the business so we can continue to provide you with even better products without compromising on our core values.
As for the lows, the floods in Kerala, have been utterly devastating. Over 2,000 hectares from our collective group of farmers have been destroyed by the "great flood", as well as significant damage to the remaining crop and farm buildings.The aid required is eye-watering. Spice Origin has donated a significant proportion of its annual profits in an attempt to show some solidarity and I would also like to thank some of you have have kindly reached out and made your own donations to the relief fund. If you would like to contribute, then please get into touch.
Thankfully, we have secured several hundred kilos of turmeric from the early harvest and it will be with us some time in the coming weeks.
